I've sat with each trauma throughout my life hating them, fearing them and disposing of them. A wise woman taught me that once the ugliness is taken care of, we must embrace all the lessons the trauma has taught us. The trauma lives on within our bodies, so we must make space far away in our bodies for it. No, it's not easy. I've taken my pain out on others that didn't deserve it, I've cried an ocean, yelled, thrown things - Healing is not pretty! I'm proud to say I have worked very hard all of my life with Doctors,Therapists and Yoga for the past 15 years. I am still met with at least one trigger a day. Like my favorite Trauma Dr. says, "The Issues are in the Tissues". Yoga has saved me!
I will answer any questions when we meet on the mat!
